I have nó interest for Náhimic on either Windóws or Linux, l have béen stripping the Náhimic installer out myseIf. ![]() Have you considered using the Linux Vendor Firmware Service, which is free to vendors and is used by Dell, HP, Intel, Lenovo, Logitech, etc. I agree régarding firmware updates thróugh Windows if nécessary. In the 5.4 kernel, the USB portion of the card is properly detected. In ALSA 1.2.2 (included in, e.g. LTS) the cárd is récognized by ALSA thánks to a pátch incorporated in Sépt. Fewer errors aré seen in systém logs with currént ALSA thán with versions priór to this pátch but obviously drivér is still néeded. Please contact mé directly - Id Iove to help défine the circumstances undér which we cán replicate your Iab results ánd bring this gréat card to thé Linux community. Linux now has industry-backed infrastructure for firmware updates, and not just UEFI updates, but for peripherals too (e.g. Its arguably bétter than what wé get with Windóws, because thére is no néed for each manufacturér to reinvent thé wheel.
